Redditch’s new Wallop Boxing Club received a grant to purchase a defibrillator and equipment for the club from the Foundation.
Wallop Boxing Club’s Director and Lead Coach Carl Dickins explained: “The launch of this amateur boxing club is designed to support the local community keep young people off the streets and to teach them valuable skills such as self-discipline and self-confidence.”
Using his experience of working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, the club will also be able to offer provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
